Retainer Fee

Upon contract, I ask for a minimum of retainer/deposit fee with balance due 37 weeks of pregnancy prior to Estimated Due Date (EDD). Of course you are welcome to pay full cost upon contract as well, which reserves your time commitment.

(NOTE:  In case of early delivery prior to EDD, balance can be paid at first post-partum visit.)

Doula Care Costs?

Being a doula is a major commitment. Doulas arrange our lives to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on call one week before and one week after your due date. Many births are 14 hours or longer. Combine that with multiple hours of prenatal work, up to 2 hours of immediate postnatal time and 2-4 hours of later postpartum support and you can see that one birth can easily be 24 hours of work for a doula. No matter the cost, data shows that the benefits of having a doula in attendance at your birth are significant and lasting.
